Northern Virginia appreciates its businesses!
There are numerous ways for local businesses as well as large corporations to participate in our regional native tree campaign. Here are some examples. We are thankful for their work.
Microsoft and
Society for Ecological Restoration
The Plant NOVA Natives corporate outreach team is thrilled to be working with the Society for Ecological Restoration and Microsoft’s Datacenter Community Affairs team to help protect and restore a section of Lake Accotink Park. This project will support the removal of non-native invasive vines and re-population of the area with beneficial native trees. More info here.

Hilton International
60 volunteers from the Hilton International headquarters helped with habitat restoration in October 2022 in Lewinsville Park. Hilton made a financial contribution to fund follow-up invasives control in the work area.
INOVA
In addition to planting for pollinators on their own properties, INOVA has been giving away 500 saplings twice a year to employees.
Transurban
Transurban has historically been a big supporter of parks in Fairfax County. In 2024, they are donating $10,000 to rescue many of the trees in Churchill Road Park, an area that connects two schools and is well-used by the community but which has 350+ trees at risk from invasive vines.
